Overarching all learning is a focus on the development of:
- communication skills through the use of AAC;
- positive behaviour, self-regulation and social skills;
- mobility through our MOVE program for students with physical disabilities; and
- independence skills.

Your child will benefit from the purpose-built specialist facilities at Burbridge School including an upgraded sensory room, hydrotherapy, swimming pool, gym, enterprise gardens, library, onsite nursing staff, new kitchen, and two large fenced playgrounds that are accessible to all students.
We have a case management approach that ensures expertise from highly skilled specialist staff in Behaviour, Communication and Mobility (MOVE program). Our teaching teams are further supported by consultant physiotherapist and senior school psychologist.
